About The Position

The Security Engineer works closely with the sales team to identify prospects and demonstrates Check Point’s portfolio of security solutions. The role educates customers, prospects, and partners about technical, operational, and business challenges and how Check Point solutions can address them. It drives meetings with current and potential customers to identify problems and recommend solutions, answers technical questions, shares best practices, manages Proof-of-Concepts, and responds to RFIs and RFPs. The role also engages and educates partners and customers on current security technologies and actively participates in cybersecurity events.

Requirements

• 8+ years of engineering and pre-sales experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of typical customer networks.
• Ability to create an end-to-end security solution for a customer’s environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

• Relevant certifications are highly preferred, such as CCNP, CISSP, CCSA, or CCSE.

Responsibilities

• Address technical questions, provide insight into best practices, and manage Proof-of-Concepts.
• Respond to RFIs and RFPs.
• Engage and educate key partners and customers on the latest security technologies.
• Participate in cybersecurity events.
