About The Position

This remote Security Engineer position requires residency within the Kansas City area. The role supports Check Point’s sales efforts by helping prospective and existing customers understand security challenges and select solutions from the company’s portfolio. The Security Engineer works with sales teams, customers, and partners to demonstrate security technologies, develop end-to-end solutions, and guide technical evaluations.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of engineering and pre-sales experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of typical customer networks.
• Ability to create an end-to-end security solution for a customer’s environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

• Relevant certifications are highly preferred, such as CCNP, CISSP, CCSA, or CCSE.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the sales team to identify prospects.
• Demonstrate Check Point’s full portfolio of solutions to help protect organizations, operations, and information from threats.
• Educate customers, prospects, and partners about technical, operational, and business challenges and how Check Point solutions can address them.
• Lead meetings with potential and existing customers to identify problems and provide appropriate solutions.
• Address technical questions, offer best-practice guidance, and manage Proof-of-Concepts.
• Respond to requests for information (RFIs) and requests for proposals (RFPs).
• Engage and educate key partners and customers on the latest security technologies.
• Actively participate in cybersecurity events.
