About The Position

Check Point is hiring a Security Engineer to work in Global Sales Engineering. The role supports customers in protecting their networks, cloud environments, digital workspaces, and AI systems from cyber threats. The Security Engineer partners with the sales team and engages prospective and existing customers and partners to understand security challenges, demonstrate Check Point solutions, and develop appropriate end-to-end security solutions. The position is remote in Washington, US.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of engineering and pre-sales experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of typical customer networks.
• Ability to create an end-to-end security solution for a customer’s environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

• Relevant certifications are highly preferred, such as CCNP, CISSP, CCSA, or CCSE.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the sales team to identify prospects.
• Demonstrate Check Point’s portfolio of solutions to help organizations protect against threats and safeguard their operations and information.
• Educate customers, prospects, and partners about technical, operational, and business challenges and how Check Point solutions can address them.
• Lead meetings with potential and existing customers to identify problems and provide appropriate solutions.
• Answer technical questions, share best practices, and manage Proof-of-Concepts.
• Respond to requests for information (RFIs) and requests for proposals (RFPs).
• Engage and educate key partners and customers on the latest security technologies.
• Actively participate in cybersecurity events.
