Security - Emergency Dispatcher
About The Position
Joining our Canada’s Wonderland team means you’ll commit to providing a safe and secure environment for all guests and associates. You’ll also receive and dispatch emergency calls by telephone and radio, receive internal/external telephone calls, transfer information to the appropriate person in a courteous, professional and timely manner, ensure appropriate documentation of multi-dispatch calls, and have other opportunities to learn and expand knowledge. Canada’s Wonderland is home to over 300 acres of world class rides and attractions for the entire family, including a 20 acre water park. Requirements
- Candidates must be a minimum age of 18 years.
- Candidates enrolled in or graduate of an Emergency Telecommunications or 911 Communications program or possess equivalent work experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Individuals that are able to problem solve and prioritize effectively
- Candidates that are highly organized and demonstrate strong multi-tasking skills
- Availability that includes working flexible shifts, including evenings, weekend and holidays
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with multi-line phone systems an asset
