About The Position

As a Security Officer Front Desk Driver in Portland, ME, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a financial institution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge procedures, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will help maintain a professional, secure environment while supporting daily operations. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at the front desk of a financial institution location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor logs in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor access to the facility and direct guests, deliveries, and contractors to appropriate areas while helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Monitor front desk communications, receive calls and inquiries, and promptly report security-related concerns or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
