As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and help maintain an orderly environment for employees and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, complete routine patrols, and support security-related incident response. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points at a food and beverage production location; verify identification, visitor credentials, deliveries, and authorized access in accordance with site requirements.
  • Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records; issue and collect credentials as directed by site procedures.
  • Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of designated access points, facility areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
