You will conduct routine patrols, operate a vehicle as part of this driving post, monitor assigned areas, help to deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service through professional communication. Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, office spaces, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and document entries, exits, and unusual activities in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and assisting with emergency response actions as directed.
  • Complete accurate activity reports and communicate observed hazards, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
