Requirements

  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

  • Sound judgment and critical thinking are a must.
  • Advanced knowledge of procedures and guidelines for emergency situations
  • Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive approach to dealing with critical situations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Able to work shift in team environment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a guest service-related field required.

  • Experience in a dispatch environment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Receive emergency and nonemergency phone or radio calls
  • Dispatch security officers to emergency and nonemergency calls around the property utilizing the computer and radio systems
  • Responsible for the timely and accuracy of the daily key reports by shift
  • Monitor the safety of guests, team members, and security officers
  • Monitors the fire alarm system for the property
  • Adheres to departmental and company policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality and professionalism in all company matters.
  • Provides superior guest experience through consistent, positive interaction.
  • Knowledgeable of applicable state laws, gaming regulations and security standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to navigate other computer applications that are applicable
  • Ability to maintain a level of composure during stressful situations and advance knowledge of the properties emergency preparedness plan
