About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Console Operator to support security operations in a healthcare setting in Clayton, North Carolina. The role coordinates security-related communications, monitors systems and alarms, manages access activity, and supports timely incident response. The operator provides a professional, customer-focused presence that helps deter security concerns and supports a welcoming environment. The position also provides customer service at a pharmaceutical manufacturing location, following site-specific procedures and dispatch protocols.

Requirements

• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old for armed roles.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• State or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience.
• Alarm panel experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers while following site-specific security procedures and dispatch protocols.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch routine and emergency service requests to security personnel, site contacts, and emergency responders.
• Monitor communication systems, alarms, cameras, and access-related activity; document events and escalate unusual conditions according to site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, using problem-solving skills and providing timely updates to relevant personnel.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, shift activity records, and other required documentation while supporting controlled access and facility operations.
