About The Position

Broadridge is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Console Operator to support onsite security operations at its El Dorado Hills facility. The role helps maintain the safety and security of personnel, property, and assets through monitoring and response activities. This is a day-shift position, scheduled from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM PT.

Requirements

Proficiency with computers, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with Security, Facilities, and other departmental teams.
Keen observation skills and a vigilant, proactive approach to identifying and reporting potential security issues.

Nice To Haves

Prior security or control room experience.

Responsibilities

Monitor and operate CCTV, event alarms, and access control systems to ensure continuous security coverage.
Maintain and update security records, including key control, ID/access badge issuance, electronic inventory logs, and the historical logbook.
Oversee and regulate personnel access to the facility to safeguard restricted and sensitive areas.
Conduct fire safety inspections and other routine facility checks as directed.
Perform initial investigations of incidents and notify appropriate authorities of procedural or policy breaches.
Maintain situational awareness and promptly report irregularities or security concerns to help protect personnel and assets.
Perform additional duties as assigned by Site Security Management or Facility Leadership.
