About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Security Concierge Officer for an office building in Piscataway, New Jersey. The role focuses on observing security systems, recognizing potential threats, documenting incidents, and protecting people and property. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at $20.00 per hour. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successful completion of a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Hold a valid New Jersey SORA license.
• Have strong computer skills and proficiency with technology.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process, as well as a post-offer background check and drug screening.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Hold a state license if required.

Nice To Haves

• CCURE 9000 experience (preferred but not required).
• Genetec experience (preferred but not required).
• Security, military, or law-enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents by writing detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to help ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitors’ identities.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
