About The Position

Unifi Security is hiring a Security Cart Screener to inspect airline carts and vehicles and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and applicable airline, airport, and company security policies. The role includes inspecting catering and food-and-beverage carts, vehicles, and storage units before delivery; checking transportation documents, vehicle seals, and contents; and responding to building emergency alarms and security concerns. Employees must follow safety and operational standards and promptly report incidents and potential hazards. Paid training is provided.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to obtain credentials required by airport, state, or customs requirements.
Must pass the Minnesota State Security License test after receiving a conditional job offer.
Must be able to constantly lift, move, push, and pull up to 70 pounds.
Must be able to constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend.
Must be able to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
Must be able and willing to work outside in weather conditions that may include severe seasonal elements.

Responsibilities

Inspect airline catering and food-and-beverage carts, vehicles, and storage units before delivery.
Ensure compliance with airport, airline, and company security regulations.
Verify transportation documents, vehicle seals, and contents.
Handle building emergency alarms and respond to security concerns.
Complete work safely and securely in accordance with company safety and operational standards.
Immediately report safety and security incidents and potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
Perform other related duties as assigned within the skills, experience, and capabilities expected for the position.
