About The Position

Help Keep Our Stores Safe and Welcoming As a Crossroads Security Floor Associate, you’ll help provide a safe working environment for our teams and a positive shopping experience for our customers. Crossroads locations are fast-paced lively second-hand clothing retail stores where customers buy and sell their gently used fashion. What you’ll do: You will balance keeping Crossroads secure and safe while also acting as a welcoming presence and guide to our guests as they come in the front door. Exceptional customer service and good judgment are a must. Some experience in loss prevention and de-escalation techniques is preferred. You are: Experienced . You’re a pro at providing un-armed surveillance. Team-oriented. You’re a people-person who loves working as a team. Compassionate. Requirements

Prior experience in security (1 year+)
Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Some experience in loss prevention and de-escalation techniques is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide a physical, yet friendly, presence . You will offer security support at all times while providing genuine hospitality and warmth.
Welcome customers . You will welcome, direct, and educate customers.
Anticipate + Respond. You will work to de-escalate any disruptive incidents in collaboration with your leadership team.
Be a team-player. You will communicate well with all staff to deliver the best customer experience possible.
Assist on the floor. You may be tasked with keeping the sales floor clean and tidy during downtime, or with putting clothes out on the sales floor.
