About The Position

Nordik Spa Village is seeking a Part-Time Security and Risk Prevention Agent to join their team. This role is crucial in establishing and maintaining a safe and secure environment for the spa village, protecting its assets, and acting as an emergency first responder. The Security Agent will be responsible for managing various situations, including medical assistance, crisis management, and investigations, while also contributing to a positive guest and employee experience.

Requirements

Minimum high school diploma.
Possession of a valid security guard license.
Possession of a valid first aid card.
Good physical health.
Ability to work on your feet for long hours.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions for extended periods of time.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Positive attitude, resourcefulness, and ability to remain calm under pressure.

Nice To Haves

Post-secondary education in a related discipline.
Security experience.
Experience in hospitality and/or customer service.

Responsibilities

Patrol all areas of the property, including outdoor spaces and nearby lodges.
Draft detailed incident reports.
Interact with guests and colleagues to enhance their experience.
Identify, monitor, and proactively mitigate risks to safety, security, and the overall experience.
Manage accidents and assist guests and employees in emergency situations.
Defuse guest disturbances and escort individuals off the property if necessary.
Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and facilitate interviews.
Complete required shift reports and maintain confidentiality of loss prevention documentation.
Respond to all emergency situations or accidents.
Develop strong relationships throughout the organization to foster trust and support.
Perform all other related duties.
