The Disaster Prevention Manager Coordinates Fire safety shifts and enforces current fire safety rules. They maintain contact with the relevant authorities, perform fire safety reports, declarations and manage the fire related permissions. As a Team leader, they must have experience with the entire process of fire safety as well as managing team members. The Disaster Prevention Manager will focus on improving safety by anticipating, recognizing, evaluating, and controlling fire hazards in the workplace. They will evaluate workplace compliance with regard to state and federal fire related regulations and standards. The Disaster Prevention Manager will enforce adherence to laws and regulations. The Disaster Prevention Manager is primarily responsible for guiding and managing other fire safety specialists within the field and evaluating their performance. They should possess excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and technical skills within their field. They will create and present reports to management. The Disaster Prevention Manager will also be responsible for other projects in the Environmental Health and Safety group.
