About The Position

IMG is hiring a Security and Badging Specialist to provide on-site support for the badging and physical access control systems. This role involves assisting in the oversight and management of the NRHQ Personnel Security Program, maintaining security databases, and processing various security-related requests and actions. The specialist will also be responsible for foreign travel coordination, security briefings, visit request management, fingerprinting, applicant screening, and data entry into security systems. Additionally, the role includes managing electronic and mechanical locks, performing basic information security audits, and operating/maintaining badging and physical access control systems, including the LENEL system. Experience in a classified environment and with multiple networks is also required.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience operating and maintaining badging and physical access control systems
  • Experience in performing routine maintenance (i.e. patching, reboots) on badging and physical access control systems
  • Experience in working in a classified environment
  • Active Top Secret or Q clearance
  • Knowledge of SEAD 4 and Agency 472.2A standards

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the oversight and management of all aspects of the NRHQ Personnel Security Program
  • Maintain and update personnel security databases
  • Support the processing of clearance requests, adjudications, terminations, incident reports, and due process actions per 10 CFR 710 and SEAD 4 guidelines
  • Review and process documents using NBIS and e-APP systems and other security tools
  • Identify and resolve deficiencies in security documentation and records management
  • Foreign travel approval, coordination, and tracking
  • Performing security briefings and debriefing processes for employees
  • Coordinate incoming/outgoing visit requests and coordination
  • Record fingerprints
  • Screen applicants utilizing basic adjudicative requirements
  • Review/prepare documentation that complies adjudicative guidelines for access authorization
  • Perform data entry into personnel security, facility clearance, and investigative databases
  • Reconcile and audit data between HQ and Field Offices
  • Complete security clearance action requests
  • Generate reports, dashboards, and briefing materials as needed
  • Familiar with the operation of electronic and mechanical locks
  • Reset lock combinations
  • Maintain combination records
  • Perform basic Information Security audits
  • Knowledge of space surveys with the use of checklists
  • Operate and maintain badging and physical access control systems
  • Enroll employees into badging systems, update permissions with physical access control systems
  • Run reports in the LENEL system for alarms, reader access, cardholder access, access levels, create new badge designs, create new access levels, configure new alarms or modes for building readers and monitor who enters or exits buildings
  • Perform routine maintenance such as patches and rebooting badging and physical access control systems
  • Maintain physical access control systems
  • Issue US Access and NRHQ badges
  • Maintain parking garage report
  • Knowledge of working in a classified environment with multiple networks
