Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential verification, and security-related policies at a technology, media, or telecommunications location.
Monitor entry and exit points, screen visitors, issue temporary badges or credentials, and maintain accurate access records and incident documentation.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
Help to deter unauthorized access by monitoring doors, gates, lobbies, and other controlled areas, and reporting unusual activity or policy violations.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for access control concerns, unsecured entry points, and other security-related issues.
