About The Position

As a Security Analyst within PNC's Forensic Investigations organization, you will be responsible for forensic investigations for all of PNC Bank. This includes Employee Relations, Email, and legal holds. Candidates familiar with incident response, forensics and cyber security would be ideal for this position. Prior working experience with forensic investigations using examiner machines in a lab is needed. This role provides technical evaluation and analysis in a specific Security area. It supports activities, processes, and tools needed to improve the overall security posture of the organization. The role involves applying security concepts, reviewing information, executing defined tasks, analyzing requirements, reviewing logs, and creating documentation. It also includes performing investigation and data loss prevention, data manipulation, and coordination of activities. Actions are performed to address or mitigate risks and vulnerabilities, and controls are reviewed and defined. The role advises on more complex security procedures and products for clients, security administrators, and network operations. It participates in the enforcement of control security risks and threats, with the potential of one or more controls subject to manager discretion. Knowledge is shared with staff. Investigations and corrective actions for data security related to established guidelines are recommended.
