About The Position

Solucient Security is seeking new Operators to join our second shift team. This is a full-time opportunity with a starting pay of $15/hour, with potential for increases based on skills and experience. As an Alarm Operator, you will specialize in monitoring commercial and residential alarms, notifying clients of verified alarms, dispatching emergency authorities, and providing solutions to meet client needs. No prior industry experience is necessary, as an extensive 4-6 week paid training program is provided to equip you with the necessary skills to handle emergency alarms, procedures, and protocols to protect life and property. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age with High School Education, GED or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years customer support-related experience.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (MS365 a plus).
  • Advanced phone skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong data entry/keyboarding skills.
  • The capacity to remain calm, empathetic, and supportive while balancing the highest level of attention to detail.
  • The ability to follow company protocols and standard operating procedures.
  • Successful pre-employment background check and drug test are required.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor commercial and residential alarm systems.
  • Notify clients of verified alarms.
  • Dispatch police and fire authorities when verified alarms are presented.
  • Offer solutions to ensure client needs have been met.
  • Work with clients directly to offer solutions.
  • Protect life and property by following emergency alarm procedures and protocols.
