About The Position
The Monitoring Operator position at U-Haul involves handling alarms and security systems, accessing cameras for U-Haul centers across the nation, and communicating with field team members regarding security matters. This role also includes assisting field team members with security code setup and helping customers who are unable to leave a U-Haul property due to issues with gates or elevators. This is a fully in-office position with no remote work available, requiring specific overnight shifts.
Requirements
- Comfortable working with computers and handling multiple programs at once
- Able to remain calm and efficient when handling security matters
- Good communicator over the phone and in person
- Detailed note taker
Responsibilities
- Handling alarms/security and accessing cameras for U-Haul centers across the nation
- Communicating with field team members about security related matters
- Aiding field team members with getting security codes setup
- Assisting customers who become unable to leave a U-Haul property (gates/elevators)
