About The Position

Solucient Security is seeking new Operators to join our second shift team. As an Alarm Operator, you will specialize in primarily commercial and some residential alarm monitoring. You will be responsible for notifying clients of verified alarms, informing them when help is on the way, and offering solutions to meet their needs. You will also dispatch police and fire authorities when verified alarms are presented. No industry experience is necessary, as we provide an extensive 4-6 week paid training program covering emergency alarms, procedures, and protocols to protect life and property.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age.
High School Education, GED or equivalent.
1-2 years customer support-related experience.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (MS365 a plus).
Advanced phone skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong data entry/keyboarding skills.
Capacity to remain calm, empathetic, and supportive while balancing the highest level of attention to detail.
Ability to follow company protocols and standard operating procedures.
Desire to exceed expectations and make a difference in the lives of our customers and community.

Successful pre-employment background check and drug test are required.

Responsibilities

Notify clients of verified alarms.
Inform clients when help is on the way.
Work with clients to offer solutions to ensure their needs have been met.
Dispatch police and fire authorities when verified alarms are presented.
Provide focused monitoring on intrusion, fire, and life safety alarms for both residential and commercial customers.
Verify, communicate, and document alarm signals with a commitment to the highest standards of service for our customers and the community.
