About The Position

A security administrator full performance will provide personnel security support to a government customer in a dynamic and challenging environment. The role involves providing personnel security support, including intake and distribution of clearance paperwork, data entry, case initiation, paperwork review, database checks, clearance verification, liaison tasks, document review and redaction, and records management. The work environment is a typical office setting with standard demands, requiring constant mental alertness, planning/organizing skills, and the ability to work under deadlines. This position is designated as a safety-sensitive position and requires compliance with Amentum's drug and alcohol policies as a condition of employment, including pre-hire screening for marijuana and other federally controlled substances due to Amentum's role as a federal contractor.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated high level of personal integrity and ability to discreetly handle sensitive, personal and classified case information
  • Ability to operate various corporate and customer specific automated systems for case tracking and status reporting
  • Understanding of the federal rules and regulations that encompasses the clearance process
  • Knowledge and ability to use computer operating systems/tools such as Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple task assignments to meet deadlines
  • Must possess TS/SCI clearance with polygraph at time of application
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year entry level, 5 yrs full performance, 7 yrs senior experience

Nice To Haves

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Participating in emergency response tasks and serving on safety committees and teams
  • Conforming to the Amentum Quality Policy and carrying out job activities in compliance with applicable Amentum Quality System documents and customer contracts
  • Reading and understanding Quality Management and Customer Satisfaction responsibilities
  • Reading, understanding and implementing the general and specific operational, safety, quality and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures and policies pertaining to his/her job
