About The Position

A security administrator will provide personnel security support to a government customer in a dynamic and challenging environment. The work schedule is 5 days a week, 8 hours a day, with hours falling between 6 am and 6 pm, Monday through Friday. Security administrators will be assigned to a primary task team and will be responsible for tasks including, but not limited to, intake and distribution of clearance paperwork, data entry into the customer system of record, case/task initiation, paperwork review for completion and content, clearance repository or other database checks, clearance verification tasks, liaison/reciprocity tasks, document review and redaction, records management, and other security administration tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated high level of personal integrity and ability to discreetly handle sensitive, personal and classified case information
  • Ability to operate various corporate and customer specific automated systems for case tracking and status reporting
  • Understanding of the federal rules and regulations that encompasses the clearance process
  • Knowledge and ability to use computer operating systems/tools such as Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple task assignments to meet deadlines
  • Must possess TS/SCI clearance with polygraph at time of application
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year entry level experience
  • 5 years full performance experience
  • 7 years senior experience

Nice To Haves

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment
  • Completing all training requirements and fulfilling all self-aid/buddy aid responsibilities
  • Participating in emergency response tasks and serving on safety committees and teams
  • Conform to the Amentum Quality Policy and carry out job activities in compliance with applicable Amentum Quality System documents and customer contracts
  • Read and understand his/her Quality Management and Customer Satisfaction responsibilities
  • Read, understand and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures and policies pertaining to his/her job
