About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic Sector Technology Senior Manager to join our Business Performance team, with a focus on transformation architecture and technology delivery in the Oil & Gas sector. In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and management of large-scale technology transformation programs that optimize service delivery models and enterprise operations. Your responsibilities will include shaping strategic digital solutions, fostering strong client relationships, and translating technology-driven transformation strategies into actionable plans that achieve measurable impact for our clients. This position requires advanced strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to solve complex organizational challenges using innovative, fit-for-purpose technology solutions. You will actively support business development initiatives and provide expert advice to senior client stakeholders on technology trends and transformation strategies aligned with evolving sector priorities. You will be embedded in strategic accounts as a sector technology architect, driving the integration of cross-functional digital solutions across domains such as wells, operations, supply chain, emissions management, and enterprise functions. A key focus will be on elevating go-to-market maturity by aligning technological initiatives, identifying synergies, and influencing technology choices during both design and delivery phases.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree (required), master’s preferred.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in business transformation, with deep sector expertise in oil and gas.
  • Proven experience in: Operating model design and deployment, Transformation strategy and business case development, Portfolio governance, performance metric design, and cost transformation, Agile organization development and digital strategy
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and future-back planning
  • Strong foundational business skills, including: Client relationship management and trust-building, Commercial acumen and proposal development, Executive-level communication and change leadership, Systems thinking, sustainability, and cross-functional team leadership

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the management and delivery of complex technology projects, ensuring quality outcomes, effective risk management, and contribution to business growth.
  • Exercise expert judgment in selecting technical methods, tools, and evaluation criteria for delivering results in transformation programs.
  • Develop and implement solutions to complex technology challenges, recommending policy or process changes as needed to improve sector performance.
  • Be accountable for the budgeting, execution, and performance of technology transformation initiatives.
  • Lead pursuit efforts, including proposal development, team structuring, commercial strategy, and leveraging internal technology accelerators.
  • Lead engagement delivery and program management.
  • Manage senior client relationships through day-to-day and executive-level interactions.
  • Drive business development pursuits and prepare proposals.
  • Travel as needed to support client delivery.
