Section Manager - Commodity Operations Hedging
About The Position
The Section Manager will oversee various functions related to electricity and gas hedging. The Hedging group is a part of Commodity Operations and is responsible for providing and hedging reliable and economic fuel and energy products including supply and capacity, for the Companys gas, electric and steam full service customers in a manner consistent with regulatory goals for achieving a competitive energy market; and to participate in policy initiatives that are pivotal to the energy industry. The selected candidate must have excellent communication skills as well as strong analytical and computer skills. Must be well organized and detail oriented. Must be able to critically think and help shape new programs. Must have experience leading teams. Must have experience creating and presenting PowerPoint slide decks to Executive Leadership. Must have the ability to interact effectively with counterparties, internal partners, support staff, regulators, and various levels of management.
