About The Position
We’re seeking a Commodity Manager to lead strategic sourcing and supplier partnerships that drive efficiency, reduce risk, and deliver value for customers. This is a hands-on role where you’ll influence global procurement strategies and work directly with cross-functional teams to implement cost-saving initiatives.
Requirements
- 1–3 years in Procurement or Supply Chain Management.
- BS in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Strong project management skills and financial acumen.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Responsibilities
- Manage material spend of $15M–$25M, ensuring cost optimization and supply continuity.
- Develop and negotiate supplier contracts that minimize TCO and improve quality.
- Lead PPV/VAVE projects and cross-functional workshops to identify savings opportunities.
- Drive working capital improvements through inventory reduction, lead time optimization, and innovative solutions like consignment and 3PL.
- Conduct RFQs, analyze quotes, and perform cost breakdowns to secure best commercial terms.
- Support manufacturing sites with supplier performance issues related to quality and delivery.
- Deliver measurable results aligned with KPIs and strategic goals.
