Provides administrative assistant/secretarial support to the Statewide and Hospital Forensic Coordinator. Handles phone calls and schedules meetings, evaluations, and hearings for all facilities housing forensic patients throughout the state when necessary. Assists in keeping forensic files up to date. Handles highly confidential information, personnel and fiscal issues. Coordinates and schedules, appointments, meetings, and information. Creates and maintains electronic and paper files on correspondence, policies and procedures, reports, develops meeting agendas, maintains patient and employee records including time, schedules, and attendance. Submits updates from the treatment team and mental health center to the court. Perform any other duties associated with the position. Mandatory overtime may be required per operational needs. Applicants selected for employment must complete a chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug screening test. All employees shall be subject to drug and alcohol testing for probable causes, as set forth in agency and bureau policies. Applicants selected must successfully complete a background check. This is a tobacco free facility.
