Performs secretarial and clerical responsibilities for the Transportation Department. This role includes acting as a telephone receptionist, typing, operating general office equipment, and possessing knowledge of school administration operations, policies, and the scope of authority of the school administration and Board. The position involves interacting with the public, answering routine questions, providing information, and addressing complaints related to the department/district, referring callers to appropriate personnel or arranging appointments as needed.
