About The Position

The Second Shift Assembler/Finisher position involves hands-on mechanical work using various tools and equipment in a safe and productive manner, following mechanical and electrical drawings. Responsibilities include the construction and quality of core and coil assemblies, tanking procedures, preparing tanks and covers, inserting units, installing and connecting internal and external accessories, and adjusting for proper clearance. The role also involves processing units for testing, preparing them for shipping, maintaining a safe and clean work area, and completing all required processing and check sheets.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Ability to use mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Proficiency with various hand tools, cranes, forklifts, power tools, hydraulic equipment, air tools, hot oil systems, vacuum pumps, scaffolding, ladders, and battery-powered lifting equipment.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must wear ANSI approved steel toe safety shoes and safety glasses.
  • Willingness to wear other personal protective equipment as required.
