About The Position

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is seeking Assemblers to join their growing production factories. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment and are eager to learn and grow. The position is available on the second shift, which runs Monday through Friday from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM.

Requirements

Willingness to learn, retain information and can become proficient in basic electronic production processes.
Basic understanding of quality and productivity standards.
Ability to listen, comprehend, and follow technical instructions.
Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills in English.
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
Lift, push, pull and maneuver up to 40 pounds frequently
Sit and/or stand at least 8 hours
Vision correctable to 20/30 or better
Differentiate color
Reach, bend, kneel, twist, grip, pinch
Fine finger dexterity sufficient to handle and place parts with precision and accuracy for at least 8 hours

Responsibilities

Following detailed work instructions to perform production duties such as assembly, operating machinery, packaging products, building products and soldering.
Learning and following all safety policies.
Developing positive and effective working relationships with co-workers.
Following and applying SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
