About The Position

VTG is seeking a SeaVision Systems Engineer IV to support NIWC Pacific's Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA) Training program. The role will support engineering, integration, interoperability, and technical assessment for SeaVision and related MDA capabilities. Work will be performed primarily at a contractor site or remotely, with periodic Government-site support based on mission needs.

Requirements

  • Must possess and maintain an active Top Secret security clearance.
  • Hands-on experience integrating complex systems, sensors, data feeds, web services, or backend interfaces.
  • Knowledge of interoperability, cybersecurity testing, vulnerability assessment, and technical risk management.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder-coordination skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or another Engineering discipline.
  • Ten (10) years of systems-engineering experience with Geospatial Intelligence Systems.
  • Two (2) years of engineering-system experience with SeaVision.

Responsibilities

  • Perform systems engineering, product-development support, data analysis, and technical assessments for MDA capabilities.
  • Assess operational and commercial data feeds and recommend improvements to data quality, availability, and mission value.
  • Develop technical specifications, interface requirements, and interoperability approaches for SeaVision and supporting systems.
  • Design and support web-service architectures and backend interfaces that enable global training and data access.
  • Support installation, configuration, testing, and integration of RADAR, SATSAR, AIS, and other sensor or data-integration nodes.
  • Evaluate system interoperability, troubleshoot integration issues, and document technical findings and recommended corrective actions.
  • Support cybersecurity testing, vulnerability and risk assessments, technology mapping, and remediation planning.
  • Provide technical support for exercises, demonstrations, and mission events, including status reporting and after-action inputs.
  • Collaborate with Government, contractor, and partner-nation stakeholders to translate mission needs into practical engineering solutions.
