About The Position

Martin‑Baker America's Seat Survival Kit Technician is responsible for the comprehensive inspection and precision packing of seat survival kits (SSKs). This role ensures all systems meet strict engineering drawings, technical specifications, and regulatory standards. The Technician also maintains detailed documentation and provides technical guidance, directly supporting aircrew safety and survivability.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Disciplined, detail‑driven approach to ensure all work meets strict technical and regulatory standards.
• Experience interpreting and applying technical drawings, technical manuals, and engineering documentation.
• Ability to lead activities within area of expertise and work independently with minimal oversight.
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills when working with peers, supervisors, and managers.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in the support and maintenance of ejection seat components.
• Experience packing, repacking, and repair of parachutes and SSKs.

Responsibilities

• Executing precision packing/repacking of SSKs to Department of Defense and Martin‑Baker specifications.
• Evaluating and troubleshooting equipment.
• Conducting in‑depth failure analysis and recommending corrective actions.
• Overseeing environmental conditions within the packing facility to ensure product integrity.
• Strict adherence to safety procedures, and Foreign Object Debris/Damage (FOD) prevention practices.
