About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a Seasonal Warehouse Associate, also described as a Seasonal Package Handler, to help move holiday packages through its Fridley, Minnesota warehouse. No previous warehouse experience is required; training is provided. The work is active and hands-on, performed alongside a team to move packages safely and efficiently toward their next destination.

The position pays $19.80 per hour, with weekly pay, potential seasonal bonus eligibility, and premium pay for hours worked on New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. The schedule is five days on and two days off, with shifts from 8:00 p.m. until approximately 2:00 a.m. Shifts are typically about six hours, though end times may vary with package volume and business needs. Overtime may be required when business needs require it and is paid according to applicable law. The seasonal assignment is scheduled from October 27, 2026, through January 1, 2027. Seasonal employees may be considered for available permanent positions after the assignment, but continued employment is not guaranteed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
• Repeatedly lift packages as described in the posting.
• Stand and/or walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat while handling packages.
• Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Be able to work in hot or cold environments where warehouse temperature control may be limited.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Keep packages organized and moving safely and efficiently.
• Keep the work area organized and ready for work.
• Work with a team to help packages reach their next destination safely and on time.
