About The Position

Primarily responsible for preparing, caring for, and loading cut Christmas trees while providing friendly customer service in a labor-intensive outdoor position.

Requirements

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and use tools safely.
Ability to perform frequent lifting, carrying, bending, and standing throughout a shift, using team assistance when needed.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to communicate clearly and work well with others as part of a team.
Friendly, helpful manner when interacting with customers and the public.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to stay active during busy periods.

Responsibilities

Unload cut Christmas trees from delivery trucks and move them safely into the tree lot.
Trim tree trunks and branches with a chainsaw, following safe operating procedures and using required protective equipment.
Place trees in stands and ensure they are secure and upright for display or customer purchase.
Load and secure trees onto customer cars carefully, protecting both the trees and vehicles.
Water and maintain trees to keep them fresh and ready for sale.
Keep the tree lot clean and organized by removing branches, trimmings, and other debris.
Work closely with coworkers to handle trees safely, assist customers, and complete tasks assigned by the Managers or Team Leader.
