About The Position

A Seasonal Tree Attendant contributes to driving sales by naturally engaging customers while they shop for holiday trees. The role upholds terrain’s four promises: to welcome, inspire, inform, and appreciate customers. The attendant shares tree knowledge, supports purchases by cutting, baling, and tying trees to vehicles, and helps create a seamless checkout experience through understanding and using MPOS. The role involves outdoor work in a variety of weather conditions and assisting the leadership team with tree-yard standards and stocking. Attendants follow store safety standards, maintain inventory accuracy, help reduce product loss, and uphold company policies and procedures to support store profitability. The starting pay is USD $17.50 per hour.

Requirements

Experience in customer service.
Basic knowledge and skill with power tools.
Ability to lift more than 50 pounds and push 100 pounds daily.
Willingness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Ability to work flexible hours to meet store needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Share tree knowledge and assist customers with purchases by cutting, baling, and tying trees to vehicles.
Use MPOS to support an efficient checkout and seamless shopping experience.
Contribute positively to the holiday shopping experience while working outdoors in various weather conditions; be respectful and helpful to others.
Assist the leadership team in maintaining tree-yard standards and stocking trees.
Follow store safety standards, support inventory accuracy and product-loss reduction, and uphold company policies and procedures.
