About The Position

A Seasonal Tree Attendant contributes to sales by naturally engaging customers while they shop for holiday trees. The attendant upholds terrain’s four promises: to welcome, inspire, inform, and appreciate customers. The role includes customer service and tree handling, checkout support, maintaining the tree yard, and helping provide a positive holiday shopping experience outdoors.

Requirements

• Experience in customer service.
• Basic knowledge of and skill with power tools.
• Ability to lift more than 50 pounds and push 100 pounds daily.
• Willingness and ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet store needs.

Responsibilities

• Share tree knowledge and assist customers with purchases by cutting, baling, and tying trees to vehicles.
• Provide a seamless shopping experience by understanding and using MPOS for efficient checkout.
• Contribute to the holiday shopping experience by being positive, respectful, and helpful while working outdoors in varied weather conditions.
• Assist the leadership team with maintaining tree yard standards and stocking trees.
• Follow store safety standards, maintain inventory accuracy, reduce product loss, and uphold company policies and procedures to support store profitability.
