About The Position

Jackson Hewitt is hiring seasonal Tax Preparers to work at tax preparation kiosks inside Walmart. No prior tax experience is needed; the company provides free tax training and ongoing support. In this role, you will prepare accurate tax returns using proprietary software, assist clients, and engage with Walmart shoppers to build relationships and grow your business. Part-time and full-time seasonal positions are available.

Requirements

• Friendly, outgoing personality and strong customer service skills.
• Comfortable approaching and engaging Walmart shoppers.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
• Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to complete required tax preparation training.
• A valid IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) is required before preparing returns; Jackson Hewitt will help with the application process.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate tax returns using Jackson Hewitt's proprietary software.
• Assist clients with tax preparation.
• Approach and engage Walmart shoppers to build relationships and grow business.
