About The Position

Jackson Hewitt is hiring seasonal Tax Preparers to work at tax preparation kiosks inside Walmart. Tax Preparers use the company's proprietary software to prepare accurate tax returns, assist clients, and proactively engage with Walmart shoppers to build relationships and grow their business. No prior tax experience is needed; free training and ongoing support are provided. Both part-time and full-time seasonal positions are available.

Requirements

• Friendly, outgoing personality and strong customer service skills.
• Comfortable approaching and engaging Walmart shoppers.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
• Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to complete required tax preparation training.
• A valid IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) is required before preparing returns.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate tax returns using Jackson Hewitt's proprietary software.
• Assist clients.
• Proactively approach and engage Walmart shoppers to build relationships and grow business.
• Complete the required tax preparation training.
