Seasonal Tax Preparer - Walmart
About The Position
Jackson Hewitt is hiring seasonal tax preparers to work at tax preparation kiosks inside Walmart. The role involves preparing accurate tax returns using proprietary software, assisting clients, and proactively engaging Walmart shoppers to build relationships and grow the business. No prior tax experience is needed; free training and ongoing support are provided. Positions may be part-time or full-time, with flexible scheduling. A valid IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) is required before preparing returns, and the company will help with the application process.
Requirements
- Friendly, outgoing personality and strong customer service skills.
- Comfortable approaching and engaging Walmart shoppers.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
- Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to complete required tax preparation training.
- Valid IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) before preparing returns.
