About The Position

EY is seeking experienced seasonal tax professionals to support clients during a critical period. The Seasonal Tax Manager focuses on corporate compliance and tax provision review, assisting companies with preparation of tax provisions. The role offers hourly, overtime-eligible pay and the opportunity to build or refine skills on a high-performing tax team. Expected hours are discussed during the interview process, allowing candidates to share their availability. The position can be performed remotely from anywhere in the United States, and no travel is required.

Requirements

• Hold a valid US Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or active state bar membership.
• Have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• Have at least 4 years of relevant experience in tax provision, tax accounting, and corporate tax compliance.
• Have relevant business or industry tax experience with broad exposure to federal income taxation.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, as well as attention to detail.
• Have knowledge of accounting for federal income tax and tax accounting for financial statements.
• Have experience in corporate tax planning and compliance and federal income taxation.
• Understand ASC 740 and/or have experience with IAS 12 under IFRS.
• Be comfortable working remotely in a virtual team environment.
