About The Position

The Seasonal Support Lead supports store leadership by helping oversee associates, customer service, inventory processes, merchandising, and store operations. The role may act as Manager on Duty and occasionally manage store opening or closing procedures. This is a part-time seasonal position. The starting pay is $15.50 per hour.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
At least 1 year of management experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask.
Creative thinking.
Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including day, evening, weekend, and potentially overnight shifts, as well as travel when required.
Ability to identify and understand email and printed instructions related to merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures.
Ability to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time.
Frequently operate a cash register, computer, hand-held devices, phone, walkie, and mobile devices.
Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 pounds and place or remove merchandise at heights of 5–10 feet.
Frequently climb and descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock.
Frequently kneel, bend, twist, and stoop, including in the stock room and on the sales floor.
Frequently communicate and exchange information with customers, managers, and coworkers in person and by telephone.
Frequently move across the sales floor and between the sales floor and stock room to assist customers and handle merchandise.

Responsibilities

Ensure crew members provide excellent customer service through personal contact with customers.
Train crew members on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience and help ensure fast, friendly checkout.
Help oversee daily activities of store associates and support effective performance and excellent customer service.
Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing stock for placement on the sales floor.
Act as Manager on Duty when needed, taking responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and urgent issues.
Occasionally manage store opening or closing, including securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and preparing for smooth operations.
Support associate onboarding and ongoing training in store policies, product knowledge, and operational procedures.
Drive store sales and control expenses by seeking ways to improve merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
Partner with the store leadership team on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
Perform store maintenance, including taking out garbage, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining the stock room.
