About The Position

Käthe Wohlfahrt of America is seeking a result-driven Store Manager for the seasonal Christmas Village market location in Aurora, IL. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, overseeing the retail business, processes, and staff. This role requires motivating and training staff, upholding visual and merchandising standards, and creating a magical Christmas atmosphere. A background in retail management is preferred.

Requirements

• Ability to work and stand in a busy retail environment for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift 25lbs and team lift 50lbs.
• Strong communication and computer skills.

• 3-5 years of previous retail or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the daily operations and retail business, processes, and staff.
• Recruiting, hiring, and training staff.
• Coaching and giving team feedback to create a high level of customer service.
• Managing payroll and scheduling within the store payroll budget.
• Effectively managing customer service issues.
• Creating an engaged team through staff meetings and contests.
• Managing receiving and inventory processes.
• Creating and upholding excellent visual displays and standards.
