About The Position

The Seasonal Store Associate supports and maintains the integrity of the Vera Bradley customer experience by providing exceptional customer service, upholding store image standards, maximizing sales, and assisting with store operational needs. The role involves engaging guests, helping them find products that meet their needs, supporting visual merchandising, maintaining clean and organized sales and stock areas, and processing transactions using the POS system. The position pays $14 per hour.

• Meet the physical demands of constant walking and standing; frequent bending, stooping, and reaching; and consistently lifting 10–35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 55 pounds and the ability to push or pull more than 55 pounds.
• Have strong sensory skills, including good eyesight, good hearing, and dexterity.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with a retail POS system.

• Engage guests and enhance their experience through product awareness and team selling.
• Treat Vera Bradley employees and guests with respect and help maintain a positive work environment.
• Drive store results through add-on selling and conversion that meet guests’ wants and needs.
• Assist with visual merchandising to maintain Vera Bradley brand standards.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting environment for customers.
• Maintain organization of the stock room.
• Accurately process transactions in a professional manner.
• Comply with established company policies and procedures.
• Process sales transactions using the POS system.
