Seasonal Staff Nurse-Operating Room
About The Position
In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging nursing position, the nurse collaborates with multidisciplinary team members from various hospital specialties to provide age- and developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care. The position is at Methodist Southlake Medical Center, a 54-bed acute care hospital serving Southlake, Keller, Grapevine, and northeastern Tarrant County in North Texas. The hospital has 11 operating suites, two endoscopy suites, a diagnostic and interventional catheterization lab, and an expanded emergency department with 12 exam rooms. Services include emergency care, advanced surgery, imaging, cardiac catheterization, robotic surgery, and SPECT/CT and nuclear medicine.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support certification.
- Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification.
- Current additional certifications as required by the department.
- Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so.
- At least 2 years of RN experience.
