About The Position
The Seasonal Sales Associate assists customers and helps maintain the store’s appearance. The role is responsible for customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance. It is temporary and designated for company-identified seasonal periods to support increased business during high-volume times of the year. Requirements
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods; bend and twist frequently; grip, reach, and pinch with arms and hands frequently; and squat, kneel, balance, and climb ladders occasionally.
- Ability to see, hear, and speak regularly, and to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Responsibilities
- Greet and acknowledge customers as they enter and exit the store and approach the front end.
- Accurately and efficiently operate the register.
- Know promotions and advertisements to answer customer questions and help sell products; support Ollie’s Army and other donation programs throughout the year.
- Maintain a neat and organized front-end work area.
- Assist with receiving truck deliveries, pricing items, merchandising products, and recovering the store.
- Communicate customer needs to Team Leaders when necessary.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the overall store.
- Complete additional responsibilities and duties as assigned.
