About The Position

A Seasonal Sales Associate contributes to driving sales by providing each customer with a genuine and unique experience. The role engages customers through personalized conversation and product suggestions, uses technology to complete transactions and locate or order merchandise, and works with peers to support a positive, customer-focused store environment. The associate also supports shipment and omnichannel order fulfillment, maintains floor stock, and upholds Anthropologie’s visual and operational standards.

Requirements

• Experience in customer service.
• Experience being a team player.
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet store needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Interest in or enthusiasm for the Anthropologie brand (described as an “Anthro brand fan”).

Responsibilities

• Initiate genuine, personalized conversations so customers feel welcome, heard, and valued.
• Support selling across the sales floor by connecting with multiple customers and sharing product suggestions.
• Use technology to transact in the moment, find sizes and colors, and place orders for items unavailable in store.
• Build productive relationships with peers, ask for support when needed, and help others.
• Participate in sharing product knowledge, current trends, and personal styling priorities to inspire customers.
• Contribute to positive team morale by participating in store initiatives and highlighting peers and leaders through the SPARKED journal.
• Share insights about the customer and employee experience and communicate feedback to Store Leadership.
• Understand how service and selling on each shift contribute to the store’s business.
• Support shipment processes to learn about new and restocked products.
• Contribute to omnichannel order fulfillment while maintaining sales-floor stock levels.
• Maintain Anthropologie’s visual and operational standards while keeping the focus on the customer, and stay current on merchandising updates.
