About The Position

They are seeking a temporary Billing Specialist for a six-month position to assist during their busy season. This role involves calculating costs and rates for services and goods shipments, preparing and issuing invoices, posting data, and maintaining accurate records.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Exposure to billing and/or accounting principles
  • Exceptional time management and attention to detail
  • Be adaptable, flexible and versatile
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of three years of billing experience and knowledge of billing processes and procedures
  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and oral
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks at the level of importance
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Pay attention to the task at hand and avoid distractions
  • Problem solving skills
  • Competent with Microsoft Teams

Responsibilities

  • Review documents in order to compute fees and charges due
  • Verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors
  • Prepare itemized invoices and amounts due for services rendered
  • Keep records of invoices and support documents
  • Prepare reports as needed
  • Answer inquiries regarding billing
