About The Position

As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-driven selling with genuine hospitality to create memorable holiday shopping experiences. You learn what customers need, offer personalized recommendations, and connect them with suitable products and services. You work on the sales floor and in fitting rooms, use product knowledge and customer engagement to meet sales goals, and help build customer trust and loyalty. You also help keep the shopping space clean, organized, and inviting. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week; hours depend on business needs and colleague availability.

Requirements

Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.
Resourcefulness and adaptability to changing priorities; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Comfort handling electronic devices.
Ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours; lift at least 25 pounds; stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach, including above eye level.
Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers.

Responsibilities

Welcome customers and create friendly, personal conversations to build customer relationships.
Understand customer needs and offer personalized product and service recommendations.
Work toward daily sales goals using customer engagement and effective selling behaviors.
Review sales goals and stay informed about new arrivals, popular products, trends, and promotions.
Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and ready for customers.
Merchandise new receipts and process damages, testers, and selected merchandise for return to vendors.
Update signs and pricing and support merchandise moves as needed.
Share loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and thank them for their visit.
Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to individual and store results.
Use handheld equipment, computers, and cash registers to perform job functions and process transactions.
