As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-focused selling with genuine hospitality to create memorable holiday shopping experiences. You learn what customers need, provide personalized recommendations, and connect them with suitable products and services. You work on the sales floor and in fitting rooms, use product knowledge and a personal approach, pursue sales goals through customer engagement and smart selling, and build customer trust and loyalty. The role also involves helping maintain a clean, organized, inviting shopping space. Colleagues prepare for the day by reviewing sales goals, learning about new arrivals and best sellers, and staying informed about trends and promotions. They welcome customers and develop friendly, personal conversations; maintain a shoppable sales floor by merchandising new merchandise, processing damages and testers, returning select merchandise to vendors, updating signs and prices, and supporting merchandise moves; and share loyalty program benefits while providing a thoughtful checkout experience. Teamwork, continuous improvement, and achieving individual and store results are emphasized. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs and colleague availability.
