As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you combine goal-oriented selling with genuine hospitality to create memorable holiday shopping experiences. You learn what customers need, offer personalized recommendations, and connect them with suitable products and services. You engage customers on the sales floor and in fitting rooms, use product knowledge and a personal approach, work toward sales goals, and help build customer trust and loyalty. The position also involves keeping the shopping space clean, organized, and inviting. At the start of the day, colleagues prepare the sales floor, review sales goals, learn about new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions, and get ready to assist customers. During the day, they welcome customers and build friendly, personal relationships; maintain a shoppable space by merchandising merchandise, processing damages and vendor returns, updating signs and prices, and helping with merchandise moves; and finish interactions by sharing loyalty-program benefits, ensuring customers have what they need, and thanking them. Colleagues support one another through honesty, care, and collaboration, and continually learn and work toward individual and store results. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week. Hours depend on business needs and colleague availability. The role requires flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as dependable attendance and punctuality.
